Columbia, MD (August 13, 2024) – To help ensure every Howard County child is equipped for a successful academic year, HCAR Cares has donated over $1,000 in school supplies to the organization Prepare for Success of Howard County.
HCAR Cares is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by the Howard County Association of REALTORS® (HCAR). Both organizations collected school supplies from REALTORS® and Preferred Partners throughout July and August, and HCAR Cares donated $1,000 in supplies to support the collection.
Prepare for Success is an all-volunteer effort that provides school supplies to thousands of students in the Howard County Public School System each year.
“We’ve been supporting Prepare for Success for many years because they do important work in addressing the needs of our community,” said HCAR Cares President-Elect Erika Madden. “We hope this contribution equips local students with the tools they need for a successful academic journey this year.”
