🧡 HCAR Cares Surpasses 500 Thanksgiving Baskets for Local Families

HCAR Cares is excited to announce that tickets are officially on sale for our Annual Spring Gala, taking place on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Cured 18th & 21st in Columbia, Maryland.
This year’s theme, Run for the Roses, Raise for the Community, brings the timeless charm of the Kentucky Derby to Howard County for an evening of elegance, celebration, and meaningful impact. The gala is open to HCAR members, partners, and the broader community, and we invite everyone to join us in supporting causes that truly matter.
Supporting Grassroots Crisis Intervention and HCAR Cares
This signature fundraising event will directly support two important efforts. Fifty percent of all gala proceeds will be donated to Grassroots Crisis Intervention, helping to fund their critical work providing services and resources to individuals and families in crisis. The remaining proceeds will support HCAR Cares’ ongoing mission to assist those in need throughout Howard County and beyond.
By attending the gala or becoming a sponsor, guests are helping extend the reach of both organizations and make a tangible difference in the community.

Guests are encouraged to embrace Derby-inspired attire. Ladies may enjoy styling fascinators, florals, and bold spring colors, while gentlemen are invited to elevate the evening with sharp suits, bowties, fedoras, and classic Derby flair.
Ticket Information and Early Bird Pricing
Tickets are regularly priced at $125, with early bird pricing available for $99 from January 7 through February 9, 2026. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for individuals and businesses looking to make a greater impact while supporting the mission of HCAR Cares.
